Adam Teryngel, MS, MBA

Coaching rooted in sustainability, education and self respect.

Why I do this work

I saw firsthand how often fitness, wellness and health spaces are built around shame, punishment and the idea that our bodies constantly need to be changed in order to be worthy. For many people, movement stops feeling supportive and instead becomes tied to guilt, fear or pressure.

Over time, I realized I wanted to help create something different, an approach to wellbeing that feels more sustainable, compassionate and realistic, while still helping people grow stronger and feel more capable in their bodies.

My work combines coaching, education and open conversations around movement, recovery, body image and mental wellbeing. The goal is not perfection, but helping people build healthier relationships with themselves, their bodies and the way they move through life.

“A large part of why I do this work comes from wanting to be the kind of support I needed when I was younger.”

Education & Experience

For over 12 years, I’ve worked in fitness, wellbeing and education, helping people build healthier relationships with movement, body image and long term wellbeing.

My background includes personal training, gym management and working with high end clientele, including serving as Head Trainer at the Four Seasons Hotel Prague world class gym.

Alongside coaching, I’ve contributed to the fitness and lifestyle section of Forbes and founded the wellbeing platform and podcast Wellspektiva.

Academically, my work has focused on eating disorders, body image and muscle dysmorphia, including developing the first accredited screening tool for muscle dysmorphia during my Master’s in Wellness & Sport Psychology.

I later completed an MBA in Startup Management & Entrepreneurship, combining my background in wellbeing and psychology with corporate education and workshop development.

Beyond Coaching

Alongside coaching, I create educational content focused on body image, wellbeing, movement and sustainability through social media, workshops, podcasts and creative projects.

I regularly collaborate on different media and educational projects, including guest appearances on podcasts and conversations focused on fitness culture, mental wellbeing, self image and creating healthier relationships with our bodies.

Much of my work explores the intersection between fitness, identity, self worth and psychology, with the goal of making conversations around health and wellbeing feel more honest, accessible and inclusive.
